Now the challenge is can he be creative offensively without being a real detriment defensively. I think he understands that and that's what his little challenge is right now."

To make all the pieces fit into place, Wilson was finally forced to break up the one successful line he's had this season, the trio of MacArthur, Kulemin and Grabovski.

“I think the most important guy on that line will be Clarke MacArthur,” Wilson explained of MacArthur, who leads the Leafs with 18 points.We need someone who’s gonna be really responsible defensively and I think Clarke can do that."
