The Toronto Maple Leafs are taking their rookie road show to London, Ont.
The Leafs – who host an annual rookie tournament in September – are bringing the event to the John Labatt Centre, the home of promising centre Nazem Kadri and the OHL London Knights.
Kadri, who was the seventh overall pick at the 2009 entry draft, registered 93 points (35 goals, 58 assists) in 56 games last season for the London Knights.
Other notables on the Leafs projected rookie tournament roster include defenceman Jesse Blacker, Keith Aulie and Simon Gysbers, and newly-signed goaltenders Jussi Rynnas and Ben Scrivens.
The other teams in the Sept. 11-14 tournament are the Ottawa Senators, Pittsburgh Penguins and Chicago Blackhawks.
