According to Larry Brooks of the New York Post, Toronto Maple Leafs winger Matt Martin is "in demand" on the trade market, despite scoring just three goals last season.
Brooks reports that with the Maple Leafs paying Martin a $1.5 million signing bonus Sunday, a team that acquires would only have to pay him $750,000 next season and $1.75 million in 2019-20, while his cap hit sits at $2.5 million.
