Murray said he “put into play” any of the six picks he has in the first two rounds for the next two drafts. Four of those are this year, with the Ducks having two selections in the first round as prime trading chips.
Some of the Ducks’ top young forward prospects – presumably Emerson Etem and Rickard Rakell among them – were on the table. Vancouver wanted a roster player to replace Kesler and Murray wasn’t going there.

BB said Vatanen to Norfolk is just about him being on two-way deal and not risking possibly losing someone else through waivers.
Said he's made it clear to Sami this move isn't based on performance. Strongly alluded to him returning when rosters expand on 3/5.

An NHLPA source tells Yahoo Sports that Backstrom violated anti-doping rules after using an allergy medication. Some, like Claritin, contain pseudoephedrine, a banned substance by the IOC and the World Anti-Doping Federation
