CALGARY, AB – The Calgary Flames announced today that they have named Jordan Sigalet as the Goaltending Coach.
Sigalet spent the past three seasons serving as the goaltending coach with the Flames AHL affiliate in Abbotsford after two years as the goaltending coach in Everett (WHL).
Jordan joins head coach Bob Hartley, associate coach Jacques Cloutier, assistant coach Martin Gelinas, skills coach Domenic Pittis and video coach Jamie Pringle to round out the Flames 2014-15 coaching staff.

CALGARY, AB – The Calgary Flames announced today that they have reached a one-year affiliation agreement with the Colorado Eagles of the East Coast Hockey League.
The Eagles will serve as the “AA” affiliate of the Flames and will provide players to the organization through the Adirondack Flames.

What they need: They need to figure out a way to retain the services of Mike Cammalleri, a UFA who scored 26 goals in 63 games last season. According to the Calgary Sun's Randy Sportak, talks are ongoing and GM Brad Treliving could wind up letting all of his UFAs leave the team. With the Flames embarking on a rebuild and having already added some truculence in a draft-day trade for Brandon Bollig, re-signing their four UFAs and perhaps UFA Kevin Westgarth could be all that happens.

The Flames made an important announcement today, officially hiring Ryan Huska as the coach of their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Flames.
Huska's just 38 years old (39 next month, but boasts a resume that rivals a lot of established NHL coaches. He's coming from the Kelowna Rockets, where he was a coach for 12 years - 5 as an assistant and then 7 as head coach. The Rockets have made the playoffs during each of his years as head coach, including winning their division three times and a WHL Championship. He was also an assistant coach for Team Canada at two World Juniors and has a silver medal (from 2011) and a bronze (from 2012) to show for it.
