A Top6-ben pl Kuleminen kívül nincs senki, akit meg tudná tartani a korongot a palánk mellett, vagy egyáltalán csatát nyerni.Simán elveszítjük fenn a korongot, rohadt frusztráló. Kellene még legalább egy power forward, aki Kuleminnél is nagyobb és keményebb, mert ez így vicc.
Amúgy ez főleg Kaberle érdeme volt. Ez az ami nagyon hiányozna, ha elmenne. De nem fog, szerintem szépen aláíratjuk nyáron. Burke sem akarja, hogy menjen, ő meg egyértelműen maradni akar.
Az biztos, dehát két külön dimenzió ilyen téren a két srác. Sajnálom, hogy csak két évre írattuk alá, amúgy rég Kulemin mez lógna itt. :)
Kesselt sem féltem, mert lesznek még neki sortársai, plusz amúgy is slumpon van. Most is jó meccse volt, de a gól nem jött. Az jobban aggasztana, ha észrevehetetlen lenne, de nem az.

In this his third NHL season, the 24-year-old has evolved into arguably the Leafs most complete forward, a powerful combination of energy, enthusiasm and all-out effort. A consistent force on the forecheck (he stripped Dustin Byfuglien for his 19th goal on Monday), a load to knock off the puck and a contributor in all three zones—not to mention a recent evolution into one of the team’s better penalty killers—Kulemin is every bit the two-way force John Ferguson Jr. and his staff likely envisioned when they selected the Magnitogorsk, Russia native with the 44th overall pick in the 2006 Entry Draft.
Already with new career-highs in goals (19) and points (39), he’s combined with Mikhail Grabovski and Clarke MacArthur to form the Leafs most effective unit this season. Always one of the final players off the ice after practice and a perfectionist when it comes to manicuring his sticks, Kulemin has earned every bit of success he’s achieved this season.
“He’s got to be one of [the] hardest working guys on our team,” said J.S. Giguere, who made 30 saves in the win over Atlanta. “He’s constantly at the rink trying to get better, watching video, staying over after practice, doing drills with the goalies, shooting pucks, doing drills with the assistant coaches.
“He’s really coming into his own right now and playing with lots of confidence on a line that’s been our driving force this year. It’s really good to see him play well. He deserves every bit of success he’s having right now.”
While his numbers continue to flourish offensively--he ranks second on the team in goals and third in points--it’s the big Russian dedication to two-way hockey that has teammates heaping praise, including a lofty comparison to one of the game’s top players.
“Brett Lebda always says he reminds him of [Pavel] Datsyuk in Detroit,” said Giguere. “Maybe not as much offensive skill as Datsyuk—he’s a pretty sick player—but as a package; strong and able to play defensively, offensively, able to shoot the puck like nobody else, making good defensive plays, good offensive plays, I think that’s a guy you can compare him to.”
Ranking the league’s toughest players to play against, Kris Versteeg picked only Sidney Crosby ahead of the Red Wings star. A three-time winner of the Selke and a two-time Stanley Cup champ, Datsyuk has earned the respect of his peers for his relentless efforts at both ends of the ice.
It’s a model that Kulemin has come to follow.
“That’s why it’s a good comparison,” agreed Giguere. “They’re both very strong, skating hard both ways of the ice, very contentious; they’re really paying attention to every aspect of the game. He pays the price defensively and then like [Ron Wilson] says 'after that he has fun offensively'.
“He’s a tank out there,” concluded Giguere. “He’s the full package as far as a hockey player is concerned.”

Faszért kapunk ilyen hülye gólokat. Mindegy, Graboék megint arattak, Schenn, Phaneuf, Kaberle kurva jó volt, de még Komisarek is.
Kuleminnek már csak egy gól kell végre a 20-hoz, remélem ezt ma behúzza az Isles ellen.:)

Egyébként Solberg nekem így annyira fura.Képtelen vagyok megszokni..Solberg egyenlő Subaru, és remélem tényleg csinálják azt a S2000-t, és vissza is megy..mert Subaru nélkül eleve borzasztó a vb. Mondjuk az is igaz, hogy ők eleve meghülyültek. Ez az új Impreza egy hányadék, koppintás, és semmi köze a régebbiekhez, ami nekem az álom autóm.
Jaja azzal fog menni.
De pont ezért mondom, hogy sok idő lesz, mire ez a vonulat beérik igazán. Még a nemzetközi elitben is gyerekcipőben jár, itthon is csak kettő darab van, azok sem az erősebb gyáraktól.
The machines are still based on four-cylinder turbocharged production models but the two-litre engines of old have been replaced by a 1.6-litre unit.
While they look similar to the ones you might see in your local car showroom, just about everything about them is different.
FIA rules say that WRC cars must be based on a standard road car bodyshell. For WRC use it is stripped to the bare metal and then completely rebuilt. All unnecessary brackets and mounting plates are removed to save weight and a tubular steel roll-cage is welded in. After around 700 hours of work, the shell emerges vastly stronger and stiffer than before. Most WRC cars could support the weight of 10 road cars.
The FIA requires all WRC engines to have a 34mm restrictor in the air intake, which holds down power output to around 300bhp. The cylinder block and head(s) must be based on those in the standard road car, but the crankshaft, con-rods, pistons, cylinder linings, valves and camshafts can be modified. Typical turbo boost is 4-5 bar - compared with up to 1 bar for an average road car - while anti-lag systems mean the turbocharger delivers maximum boost from tick-over. The result is massive torque - typically more than 600Nm - about the same as a Ferrari Enzo.
All WRC cars have four-wheel drive and sequential gearboxes. The cars have a clutch, but the driver tends to only use it to move off from a standing start.
Inside a WRC car there is no fancy upholstery or elaborate trim - just painted metal, composite panels and two carbon fibre seats, moulded to fit the driver and co-driver perfectly. There’s no room in the back - the tubes of the roll cage take up the rear passenger space - and the floor is pretty crowded because everything the car needs to carry, such as a fire extinguisher, tool kit and spare wheel, is bolted to - or under - it to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible.
WRC rules allow spoilers and other aerodynamic aids that you will not see on a road car. These are designed to manage the airflow around the car to cool mechanical components - like engines and brakes - and keep the car planted firmly on the road - or level in flight.
The result is a car that reaches 100kph in around three seconds on all surfaces and can - in the right hands - power slide between the trees on a narrow gravel track under full control at 200kph-plus.
Faszért az a neve, hogy WRC, mikor ez egy új S2000-es..
Egyébként nekem rohadtul bejönnek ezek a gépek, komoly szerkezetek, de mégsem WRC. A Fiesta is jól néz ki, meg itthon Herczig Fabia-ja is nagyon adja. Viszont mire ez a vonal rendesen kiépül, az szerintem nem kevés idő. Nagyon remélem, hogy csak jegelik a WRC-ket egy időre.
De a lényeg, hogy most hétvégén kezdődik a WRC szezon a Svéd Rallyval.
Hát...egen...csak iszonyat mód hanyatlik az egész. Pár éve is ugyan ezt mondták, olyan 2003-4-5 körül, de akkor még legalább volt Subaru, meg ilyenek. Nagy egyéniségek akkor is hiányoztak, de azóta a gazdasági válság is megbaszta a sportágat.
A hazairól meg ne is beszéljünk..komolyan fáj a szívem mikor eszembe jut, hogy 2-3 éve még 10 WRC szaladgált itthon, nem is akármilyenek, mára meg egy sem maradt. De még S2000-ből is alig van.
Nem is pár..pont azért, amit ezen a 6 perces videón látunk. Mindig 120%-on autózott, aztán ha célba ért nyert, ha meg nem, akkor bukott egy kegyetlen nagyot, vagy csak simán nem bírta a gép.
Én ezt nézve a monitor előtt félek...Nicky Grist meg hát...nem is tudom. Mondanám, hogy megszokta már mellette, de kétlem, hogy ezt meg lehet szokni. Egyszerűen ilyen emberek voltak, félelmetesek.

Plusz. :-D Ez egyértelmű, de én Kimit is ugyan úgy szeretem még mindig. Azért ameddig csak lehetett maradt a McLarennél...akár hamarabb is elmehetett volna, ha azt nézzük még egész későn lett tele a fasza. Nekem sem tetszene, hogy ha a pályán vagyok megverek mindenkit, csak épp minden 3. versenyen megáll a gép. Elbaszták..ha minden évben lett volna egy kicsivel erősebb motor ami végig bírja, akkor most kb 4x-es világbajnok lenne. Ez van.
