“Feel kind of bad for him because he played a great game,” Stamkos said of Ward. “[Nabokov] played a great game too, and their goal bounced off of [Lightning defenseman Victor] Hedman. Three goals that weren’t very pretty but we were on the fortunate side to get two of them. It’s easy to get frustrated, but we’re getting the chances and eventually they are going to go in.”

Bobby "The Chief" Taylor has announced that this season will be his last in the role of color commentator for the Tampa Bay Lightning. He will continue to work as a sideline or studio analyst for Sun Sports at home and away games.
The Chief joined the Lightning in the 1993-94 season and has spent 21 years in the booth.

"We had our chances, we had power-play opportunities, it just didn't go in the net," Lightning coach Jon Cooper said. "Sometimes they're going in for you and sometimes they are not, and it's too bad because it cost us."
"We're not playing the way we need to in order to be successful," Stamkos said. "Maybe we're not getting some bounces that we were getting at the beginning of the year, but we've got to earn those. We got behind the 8-ball again on the first shift."
"You have to keep putting the puck on the net and hope that a few go in," Filppula said. "It's a long season and you're going to have ups and downs, and now we have two games we've lost against good teams (3-1 to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday). I feel like we will fix a few things and hopefully get our power play working as well."
The Lightning were 0-for-4 for their power play, including three consecutive in the second period.
"When you get three straight chances you have to get a goal," Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman said. "We had some good looks and got closer and threw it in the post, but obviously that's a tough one to swallow."
"You can't accept these results because we want to take care of the home ice," Boyle said. "They got off to a good start and we couldn't match it. We're going to go on to the next game (Thursday at home against the Carolina Hurricanes), but it's disappointing to lose back-to-back games at home."

"We didn't deserve the points," forward Steven Stamkos told the Lightning website. "You've got to give them credit. Their goaltender played well and their team played well."
"It was just one of those nights, the bounces didn't go our way," Bishop said. "We had a couple of bounces off of our own player and pucks were bouncing over our sticks. Every now and then, that's going to happen."
"They got the lead and shut it down," Lightning coach Jon Cooper said. "They played a good road game."

kozel sem olyan szar a Sabres sem. es az nhl nem spanyol focibajnoksag szerencsere. ha mindig az eselyes nyerne, akkor a leggyengebbeknek pontjuk se lenne, a legjobbak meg nem vesztenenek szinte semmit. epp az a jo, hogy itt barki elkaphat barkit egyszer-egyszer.
az is irrealis, hogy az elmult 8 mecccsunket behuztuk a Rags ellen. nem vagyunk naluk ennyivel jobbak mi sem, de a lepes neha pont kijohet...
tegnap gyengen kezdtunk, de aztan siman nyerhettunk volna. nem jott ossze, de 3 pontot igy is szereztunk a b2b-bol, aminek orulni kell es menni tovabb.
en tovabbra is csodalattal adozom a csapat elott. tortenelmunk legjobb szezonja eddig, kar lenne fanyalognunk.

az az iras pusztan arrol szolt, hogy vajon mikent fogadjuk (szurkolok) majd Tampan Lajost ma este. Kessler csak mint hasonlat szerepelt benne, hiszen o sem eppen szepen tavozott, o is nagyon hosszu idot toltott volt csapatanal, ahol az egyik legmeghatarozobb lancszem volt. Es o mar jart Vancouverben uj csapataval, a szurkolok pedig igen vegyesen fogadtak, volt ott ovacio es komoly boozas is.

ez fincsi volt 
71 gol 19 meccsen. masodik a Pens 60 talalattal 16 merkozesen. az aranyunk szinte ugyanaz, de mi mar meglottuk oket, szoval... allat szezon eddig, raadasul Hedman es Connolly meg vissza se tertek.
Droiun goljaert kar, de jogosan vettek el. Killorn feltartotta a Henriket.

ezert a meccsert kar volt. gyozelmet most sem erdemeltunk volna, de az egy pontot sokkal inkabb, mint a Hawks ellen. nem sok szerencsenk volt a meccsen, viszont valahanyszor kisebb hullamvolgybe kerultunk, a capak szepen a nyakunkra masztak, szoval osszessegeben jobbak voltak. a vegen meg mar csak futottunk az eredmeny utan, ami ritkan jelent jot.
ideje lesz felporogni, mert az elmult par merkozesen kezdunk belesuppedni abba, hogy de jo helyen allunk, milyen faszak vagyunk a serultjeink ellenere is. csak a kapusainknak koszonhetjuk, hogy a nagy kenyelemben nem szalltunk el teljesen mar az elejen egyik alkalommal sem.

Tyler Johnson is considered day-to-day after sustaining a crosscheck to the ribs and leaving last night's game in the third period. Killorn is close to returning so he could step into that roster spot. Paquette would most likely stay until Johnson is ready to go.

elegge varhato eredmeny volt. a csapat faradtan kezdett, kozunk nem volt a meccshez az elso harmadban. csak a tokeletes PK es Bishop tartott minket partiban. a masodiktol mar elfogadhatobb teljesitmenyt nyujtottunk, de ennel joval tobb kell, ha top csapatok otthonaban nyerni akarunk.
a serulesek meg... rendre azt kapjak el, akik epp eletuk formajaban jatszanak. fasz kivan ezzel mar nagyon.

From beat writer Erik Erlendsson: Last nights win tied the best start in franchise history with 21 points through 14 games, matching the 2003-04 team that started the season with a 9-2-2-1 record. The 10 victories through 14 games matches the most wins in the same time period set last season when Tampa Bay started 10-4.
The seven goals scored on Saturday is the most Tampa Bay has scored in a road game since March 23, 2004, in a 7-2 victory at Toronto, and one goal short of tying a team record. The Lightning’s four-goal, first period also matched the most goals scored in a period on the road, last done on Nov. 18, 2010, at Philadelphia.
